ABOUT ME
MY STORY
Paget’s main mission in life is to empower humans to live a better version of themselves every day.
Growing up as one of the only Asian Americans in school meant that it was challenging to fit in. She secretly harbored a love for performing arts, but being represented on screen was far from the realm of possibility in her mind.
As she details in her book “Social Anxiety Relief for Teenage Girls,” she was bullied from a young age, which often led her to self-deprecating thoughts like, “why can’t I be like everyone else?”
Instead, she focused her energy on getting good grades, and after graduating valedictorian from Malibu High School, she ventured up north to UC Berkeley where she fully intended on studying math and engineering.
However, fate had other plans. Junior year, she was given an opportunity to study abroad in Paris and it was there that she auditioned for a musical, and was cast as Sheila in “A Chorus Line.” After a magical semester of rehearsals and late night walks under the Eiffel Tower, she knew she caught the acting bug.
Her authentic presence captivates while her words cut to the heart of the human condition.
After graduating college, she started taking acting classes but quickly realized the selection of roles were scarce. That’s when she wrote, produced, starred, and crowdfunded her own Asian American-led romantic comedy web series “Kat Loves LA,” which had such a positive fan reception that it led to a second season.
From there, she’s dedicated her time to creating content that forces people to think harder about their current paradigms so they can live more empowered lives.
She coaches people with the same intention of breaking people past their own perceived limitations. After all, don’t we all deserve to live our fullest potential?
She’s currently developing several pilots and features.
